Een voor Engelstaligen ludieke fout: het woord achterkant wordt vaak met backside vertaald, wat achterste (zitvlak) betekent. Het woord *backsite bestaat niet.
Dus niet: *The address is on the backside of the envelope.
Maar: The address is on the back of the envelope.
En zo ook: Please sign on the back.
Of: Please sign on the reverse. (formeler)
En: Please use the back of this form for any additional remarks.
